Cynthia West serves as a Senior Litigation Paralegal at the MacArthur Justice Center’s Missouri office. She obtained her associate of applied science degree in paralegal studies with Highest Honors from St. Louis Community College at Meramec campus. Cynthia also earned both a bachelor’s degree with Honors in Political Science and a doctorate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
Cynthia worked in the areas of human rights, plaintiff-side civil rights in employment and prisoner rights cases for several years before specializing in disability rights through direct support of adults with developmental disability for many years. Cynthia is also a long-time political activist, conversational in Japanese, loves alternative hip hop and creates origami art.
