Jonathan Gibson is a legal fellow in the MacArthur Justice Center’s Supreme Court & Appellate Program. His project focuses on using state constitutional provisions to challenge solitary confinement.

Jonathan received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he participated in the Challenging Mass Incarceration Clinic, the Media Freedom & Information Access Clinic, and the Green Haven Prison Project. He also interned for Civil Rights Corps and MJC. Before law school, Jonathan worked as a Justice Fellow at the Equal Justice Initiative, and he holds a B.A. in Computer Science and American Studies from Georgetown University. He is not yet admitted to the D.C. Bar and is practicing under the supervision of D.C.-barred attorneys.
